Our polycarbonate panels become an artwork, thanks to the artistic flair of designer Jacopo Foggini.
The encounter between the imaginative world of the artist and the industrial world of dott.Gallina, diametrically opposed, creates an opportunity to reflect on the possible interpretations of honeycomb polycarbonate, recognizing its efficiency and nobility.
The installation represents a path between painted panels of uniqueness, obtained by a special process of inclusion coloring, developed by the artist, in Dott.Gallina's production units. Complementary shades spread among the panels, multiplying among the transparencies of polycarbonate.
In 'LaCittaDinAmica' the panels have been arranged in a labyrinthine pattern, to be walked through and discovered. The value of the material is also identified in the recognition of its ductility, its adaptability.
The installation was placed at the main entrance of the famous contemporary art fair in Turin, arranged in a labyrinthine pattern: a forest to be passed through, entering Artissima, and then to be ascended, walking up the stairs, in an eschatological journey that connects the outdoor installation to its extension: the realization of the VIP Lounge.
