arcoWall®5613 is a modular system of coextruded 13 walls polycarbonate panels with a thickness of 60mm, and exclusive aluminum profiles for variable solutions that can be ustomized for the needs of any project. The self-bearing translucent walls system, arcoWall®5613, comes from the experience of over 50 years of our company. We are constantly engaged in exploring alternatives in the building market as well as the creation of unique and innovative systems.

The arcoWall®5613 wall system enables the creation of genuine ‘translucent walls’ with high thermal performance. For spans up to 3.5 m in height, the system does not require the installation of secondary support structures, whilst for greater spans, a suitable intermediate cross-brace profile is required to which the arcoWall®5613 panels are fixed using the appropriate brackets. For ‘extra-tall’ panels exceeding 6 m in height, special perimeter profiles must be used. These special features enable the system to withstand mechanical stresses whilst allowing the panels to slide correctly in response to thermal expansion (as shown in the diagram opposite). The aesthetic appearance, whether in backlight or oblique light, is truly unique, thanks to the honeycomb structure of the modular panels, which creates an elegant striped texture.
The chromatic effects can be customised in an infinite number of ways, both in terms of colour and light transmission, thanks to the RTG and Caleido designs. Furthermore, the external and internal surfaces can be tailored to the specific application context using dual-colour technology and the co-extrusion of special treatments on both sides, allowing natural light to be filtered according to design requirements. An anti-glare diffusing treatment can be applied to the internal surface to create visual comfort in indoor environments, whilst IR or UV-TECH protection can be applied to the external side. For correct installation, the cells of the polycarbonate panels must be sealed with special micro-perforated aluminium tapes, which allow for proper ventilation and prevent internal soiling. For the arcoWall®5613 system, opening systems made with thermal break aluminium profiles are also available (see relevant section).
